Shef Food + Wine returns to EpicCentral in Grand Prairie, Texas, October 9–11, 2026, for its third year. Presented by Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley of T2D Concepts, Shef is a modern Texas table: a weekend where the full story of Texas comes together through chefs, makers, music, and hospitality.
Texas is not one culture, one cuisine, or one story. Shef celebrates the Texas that exists today, where Mexican, Gulf Coast, Vietnamese, Nigerian, Indian, Korean, Black Southern, Indigenous, and European influences live alongside classic barbecue, ranching, and local agriculture. The goal is not to show guests the Texas they already expect, but to introduce them to the Texas they didn't know existed.
The weekend opens Friday with the Sno Social Block Party led by Carla Hall, a welcome party, the Shef Tiffany & Friends Restaurant Takeover, a fireside chat with Kristen Kish, and The Juke Joint at The Landing. Saturday brings pickleball with chefs around town, wine tastings and talks, live music by Perfect Fourth Inc., industry panels, a VIP experience, and the Grand Tasting featuring Tristen Epps, Nyesha Arrington, Kevin Bludso, Angelo Sosa, and more.
A T2D Concepts experience benefiting Roots Impact, Shef supports culinary education, mentorship, and scholarships.
T2D Concepts, LLC - the hospitality company that operates Roots Chicken Shak, Roots Southern Table, Radici Wood Fired Grill, The Landing, Syrup + Sno, and Shef Food + Wine, is excited to host the Third Annual festival and support the development of educational resources for the culinary industry.
In partnership with our non-profit, Roots Impact, a portion of the monies raised at Shef Food + Wine will be directed to develop the next generation by opening doors, building pathways, and planting the seeds of opportunity that empower individuals to grow, lead, and thrive in the culinary world and beyond.
Roots Impact believes that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. The organization’s mission is to bridge that gap by creating meaningful opportunities for education, workforce development, mentorship, leadership training, scholarships, and career advancement.
